The functions package provides a set of utilities to streamline GWAS analysis, Mendelian Randomization, and Visualization.

Reading Data

The read_file function automatically detects the file extension and uses the appropriate reader (e.g., readr, readxl, haven).

tmp_file <- tempfile(fileext = ".csv")
write.csv(head(mtcars), tmp_file, row.names = FALSE)

# Read the file
df <- read_file(tmp_file)
